This gel pack is amazing - it can be thrown in the freezer and used as an ice pack with two differnt levels of cooling using either the plush side or gel side. It can also be put in the mircrowave for 25 seconds or less for heat therapy. I underestimated at first how often I should be icing my incision after a c-section, but every couple hours was essential the first few weeks at home for comfort and to manage swelling.
